A Letter from Our Partners
Dear Fellow Business Leader,
Since its founding in 2007, we have partnered with Cristo Rey Jesuit High School by investing in their unique Corporate Internship Program. The program not only provides access to educational opportunity in Baltimore City but also demystifies the professional world for underserved yet deserving students. What was an idea in 2007 is now a model of empowerment and professional workforce development. Cristo Rey is proving that this investment produces long-term economic return for our city and collective businesses.
The Corporate Internship Program provides over one-third of the operating revenue for the school, and empowers students to be owners and stakeholders in their educational and professional journey. With the recent market dislocation created by the COVID-19 crisis, the risk to the school and the community’s investment in this program is greater than ever. Baltimore’s students and families are more vulnerable than ever. Cristo Rey needs us now more than ever. In this difficult time, we can remain steadfast in our support and intend to come through it stronger, together. We hope that you will join us and other business leaders by continuing to prioritize an investment in Cristo Rey’s Corporate Internship Program in the year to come.
In Gratitude,
Augie Chiasera
